Guerilla Bay House

Guerilla Bay is a home and studio for two artists, composed of two pavilions set on a cliff with panoramic views along NSW’s Eurobodalla coastline from Mossy Point to Broulee.

The design responds to the dramatic landscape, framing views like works of art, while remaining modest, robust and resilient to coastal conditions and bushfire risk.
The first pavilion—the home— is efficient and thoughtfully crafted for comfort and quiet reflection. The second pavilion, the studio, is an extension of the existing garage and provides a dedicated space for creative work. Stepping with the natural topography, the pavilions create a sheltered courtyard between them, with the studio oriented to overlook the house and coastal outlook. Separating the home and studio establishes a clear rhythm of work and rest, while each pavilion offers a distinct perspective, allowing the occupants to continually reconnect with the site.
